We’ve just returned from 6 days in Seaside, Oregon. It was a fabulous family vacation (our first since Finley was born). Our condo was right on the beach with a view of the ocean. The weather was beautiful. Finley and Samantha played on the beach, swam in the pool and flew kites. We also visited the Tillamook and Blue Heron Cheese Factories. Well Finley, Mommy and Samantha experienced their first democratic caucus. Samantha went with her mom and Finley and I went to our local polling place. I was expecting lots of people there, but really it was not very busy. Anyway, I made my choice and it was a new experience. Finley really enjoyed the bottle of water and cookie that he got.
Well after being called a girl and many mornings with snarly hair we finally cut Finley’s hair. It was bittersweet, but a necessity. He now has a grown up boy haircut free from snarls.
