We were at IKEA this weekend and Finley went into the bathroom and was very excited to find a “Finley sized” sink. Here are a few pictures.

We were without a camera for most of the summer. Our old one broke, I bought a couple I didn’t like and I think we have found one, but now have to wait for it to come in the mail. Long story short, we only had Tyler’s iphone to take pictures with. He downloaded them onto the computer for me tonight. Here are some pictures of our summer adventures.

My friend Jessica introduced me to a GREAT blog for cupcakes. The blog is Bakerella and she made this really cute beach scene with cupcakes. We decided to make it for Samantha’s banquet. Here is our (Tyler decorated and I baked) attempt at it.

We enjoyed our summer so far. Jen starts back to work tomorrow and school starts for Samantha and Jen on Wednesday, September 3rd. Wish us luck!

Samantha received the Most Improved Award tonight for swim team at their banquet. We are so proud of her. She has done a great job with this being her first year on the team. Below are her stats for the year. We’ll post pictures of her trophy and certificate soon.

Samantha had her summer orchestra concert this evening. She played the violin during the school year and joined the Normandy Park Youth Orchestra this summer and will continue into the fall. Here are some pictures of her performance tonight. We took a video, but it is too big to upload so we’ll figure out how to shrink it or put audio only and then get it up.

She is becoming a fine musician.

Here is a video of Finley trying to talk to his Auntie Kim (Jennifer’s sister) who is currently spending 82 days in SE Asia.

He has seen people put their cell phones in their pockets so he has been putting them down his shirt for safe keeping and recently went to bed with one in his jammies.

Tonight we had Samantha’s Synchronized Swimming Finale. There was a broadway theme to the show. Samantha and 2 friend performed a routine to go go with Part of your World from Little Mermaid. She did a great job. Here is a video (very poor quality - I am working on getting a better one) of her performance.
