October Fun

We have had issues with our computer and haven’t been able to upload pictures. I got a new card reader and we are in business again. So here are some pictures of our October Fun.

Pumpkin Patch #1
We went to the pumpkin patch in Kent with some of our friends and picked up a few really cute pumpkins. This was on the day of our first really big rain of the season so by the time Finley and Tyler took the hayride it was quite the downpour.

Burien Pumpkin Patch Bash
The city of Burien puts on a Halloween carnival every year. Aly and I took Finley and Declan and had a good time. Finley really liked getting the candy.

Pumpkin Patch #2
We went to a super cute pumpkin patch in Renton/Maple Valley called Enciso Farms. They had farm animals, lots of old farm equipment, pumpkin fields, corn maze and what every good patch needs – an espresso stand. It was a great fall day!

Declan Turns 4 months old
We can’t believe our baby is 4 months old already. He is getting so big and smiles all the time. He is cooing and has rolled over a few times. Declan is a great joy in our lives. He adores his big brother. I think the feeling is mutual. At his 4 month check up he was 14lbs, 5oz, 25″long. He is just a few ounces bigger than Finley was at 4 months a few inches shorter.

Preschool Trike a Thon
Finley’s preschool did a trike a thon fundraiser this month. All of the kids showed up to the preschool with their trikes and rode around the parking lot. We decorated Finley’s trike, but he wasn’t too excited about riding it. He did enjoy the bake sale though.

Preschool Trunk or Treat
Finley’s preschool does a trunk or treat every year. It is a lot of fun. This year it was sprinkling a little, but Finley still enjoyed digging through the hay and trick or treating all the cars.

Museum of Fright
The Museum of Flight put on a Halloween event. We took all 3 kids, plus Tyler’s parents and our nephew Elijah. We had a great time. I had never been to the museum of flight – we’ll have to go back without the boys.

Trick or Treating
In the afternoon I took Finley to the Boo in Burien where he trick or treated local businesses and had a good time. Then in the evening we went trick or treating around our neighborhood and it was a great evening. Finley really understands the concept of trick or treating this year -although he wanted to eat all of the candy as we went from house to house. My camera battery died so I didn’t get any pictures of Declan, but my mom did so I will add those soon.
