Finley is Potty Trained!!!!

After what felt like forever Finley FINALLY decided he was ready to potty train. His reward was a HUGE lollipop. Here he is which is giant lollipop. He is 100% during the day (hope this post doesn’t jinx me) and 90% at night. I’ll take that. Now just 1 in diapers. Woo hoo!

We went out for Sushi for my 30th Birthday lunch. We had a great time. I was very excited to turn 30 (which I know some people who aren’t). I enjoyed my day with my boys.

Pet Show at Preschool

Teacher Gloria at our fabuous preschool had a pet show for the kids in January. It was a lot of fun. We had dogs, hamsters, slugs (yes slugs) and a fish. Finley took in Diego, his pet Beta, for the show. They took turns walking around looking at the pets.

Recess Monkey Recording Session

We were able to go to the recording session for one of our favorite groups Recess Monkey. They recorded potions of their new superhero album and we get a pre-release copy for attending. If you haven’t heard of Recess Monkey I highly recommend getting a CD or two. They are local – which we love, they sing fun songs that aren’t annoying and we all enjoy them.

I only got one picture because the boys laid on me for the entire concert.

Washington State Train Festival

I heard about the Washington State Train Festival from a friend and so I took the boys along with our friends the Auxiers. It was a fun trip, but definitely geared towards old train fans.

Zoo Lights

We went with Papa, Nona, Auntie Aly and Elijah to Zoo lights in December and had a great time looking at all the fun light creations they make. It was quite the adventure as both boys wanted to run around and it was pretty cold out. We had a good time though.
